This time we bring you Bowtie. Bowtie is a free app that allows you to control iTunes with shortcuts, submits your songs to Last.fm, and sports a very simple, yet very powerful, xhtml + css + javascript based theming system. Many themes are avaiable. Themes are easily added, although Bowtie does require a restart before they will show up in the menu. I really don’t get these apps.
You have to have iTunes running anyway, so why pay for a remote app since Apple has its own Remote App?
Then also every Mac has its own shortcuts on the function keys, that’s much quicker than expose the hidden overlay and control UI. And if I really want to move the mouse I can very well right-click on the dock icon of iTunes and control from there.
That’s nice, I’ll download it right away.
