Why should people get this instead of Photoshop? I have both and Photosho is waaaaaaaaay better. Let’s put this this way, Aperture is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to picture editing. Not worth it.

@blueriol I like Auto FX Software DreamSuite better … I just installed Mac OS Lion on my HP/PC. I now have Windows 7 , Linux Mint OS , and Mac OS installed on my HP gaming PC.

@iTalkApple 10 minutes isn’t really that long. I remember watching a youtube video that was an hour…compare that to 10 minutes…LOL

Thank for your review. Two questions. How do you magnify part of the screen like you did in your presentation.? More importantly, will aperture allow you to write text within a photo? Like to label something in a photo for a project? I will appreciate your reply

    Do you still use iPhoto?

wow, nice vid! I’m on my 30 day trial of aperture, seems a lot better than iPhoto and easier to use than photoshop but i notice it seems a bit slow sometimes even though i have a brand new iMac?

The UI Graphical interface seems really outdated. I was contemplating in buying Aperture, but I just can’t deal with the old-style buttons and plain layout. Does that ever bother you while using it?

Hi, great video! When you import a event or album from iPhoto why does Aperture show you two of each image?

  23. geraldhjm says:

    thanks for the effort!
