@Beazely981 You have to run it in Terminal, most macs can’t run it in the jar
You just type cd desktop (where the server folder is)
cd minecraft server (server folder name)
the the command java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui
“failed to connect, connection refuced”
what ip do you put into the server properties?
Router incompatible.
You know how to get it normal?
@funnyztufff just click on it

I found port mapping but after i downloaded it i couldnt find it in applications
I cant find setting up a port mapping
THANK YOU!!
@BebopJacob also, to run these things using terminal (and after downloading mono and fcraft), you simply type “mono ” then drag the fcraftUI.exe file after it. your server will come up fine and dandy.
@BebopJacob i think i might be able to help with you. there are many complicated processes to making a minecraft server, especially when it comes to macs. i myself have a mac and my server was set up extremely easily. i use fcraft (a kind of minecraft software) so you can download that (just type it in on google). afterwards, download mono (it’s an application that allows macs to run .exe files). then you edit the ConfigTool.exe to how u want, and run fcraftUI.exe from terminal.
Never mind fixed it
