    @Beazely981 You have to run it in Terminal, most macs can’t run it in the jar
    You just type cd desktop (where the server folder is)
    cd minecraft server (server folder name)
    the the command java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui

    That is super helpful, I now have my own server but I went on it once, it said connection lost, and I couldn’t go on again. Any idea as to what the problem is?

    After opening my minecraft_server.jar it only loads until 81% and says java ran out of memory

    it was all fine until i tried to open the start.command file near the end it says “process complete” but then nothing else happens, or opens up, and help please?

    @BebopJacob also, to run these things using terminal (and after downloading mono and fcraft), you simply type “mono ” then drag the fcraftUI.exe file after it. your server will come up fine and dandy.

    @BebopJacob i think i might be able to help with you. there are many complicated processes to making a minecraft server, especially when it comes to macs. i myself have a mac and my server was set up extremely easily. i use fcraft (a kind of minecraft software) so you can download that (just type it in on google). afterwards, download mono (it’s an application that allows macs to run .exe files). then you edit the ConfigTool.exe to how u want, and run fcraftUI.exe from terminal.
